Well, here I am on day eight after my open heart surgery on February 16. I had complications and needed a second surgery last Friday. But now I'm doing well enough to sit in a chair. Most tubes are disconnected and my numbers are good. So now it's on to the process of recovery and rehabilitation.

New (Temporary) Furniture

This is a rented medical lift recliner. It should make things easier for me after I'm discharged from the hospital and return home. I won't be able to use my arms to get out of a chair and it isn't necessary with this one.

During an hour and a half tour behind the scenes at the fantastic Camden, NJ Adventure Aquarium, members of our recreational scuba diving club got a look at how the facility functions. The photos below show the 760,000 gallon large display tank as seen from inside, where feeding, cleaning and maintenance activities take place.

Busy But Uneventful Day

Attended the "Mornings Out" gay men's social group in the morning then home for lunch and a quiet afternoon. I'm sure glad the weather has been cooperating and there is no snow or ice on the ground.
