Cherry Grove Views From Above
I flew my drone for the first time today. A few things stand out from the photos. First, the island is really thin and fragile. Second, the community is dense but remains charming in spite of the developers and their McMansions. Third, our little cottage really is precious. We're lucky to be here. The long thin yellowish building in a couple of the photos is the new Grove Hotel, rebuilt after a devastating fire a couple of years ago.

Dan's Opening Exhibit At Philadelphia's Third Street Gallery
On Friday evening April 7 several of our good friends joined Dan and I for an art opening at Dan's new gallery in Old City Philadelphia. It was quite a festive evening and some of the group enjoyed dinner out after the opening.

A Festive Celebration!
Friday evening we enjoyed attending a lovely dinner for 14 organized by our great friend Louise. It was Julie Dudding's birthday, which made the dinner all the more festive. The venue was Stephen Simon's great new restaurant Royal Izakaya in Queen's Village.
