It's been tough to post to the blog this week because the satellite Internet connection from the Caribbean Princess is a bit slow. But we are having a wonderful time aboard this beautiful ship. New England is beautiful at this time of year. We enjoyed Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia, and we spotted this bald eagle on a river cruise up the St. John River in New Brunswick. Yesterday we enjoyed beautiful Bar Harbor Maine, where the fall colors are at their peak. Today we're in Boston and tomorrow, Newport.
I've enjoyed Marc's blog entries. We're all watching the markets and wondering where the bottom is. This is the end result of nearly 40 years of Reaganomics. America will never be the same after this. I only hope that the new economic reality that emerges after this deluge is more fair and just, and that the Reagan-Bush Gilded Age has not destroyed our country beyond repair.
