First Day Of Our Holiday Cruise On The QM2

We were awakened early this morning when the captain of the ship announced that there was a missing person. We spent the entire day circling the ocean in conjunction with the coast guard looking for a 74 year old woman. The search was finally called off at sunset but she was not found. In spite of this sad emergency we enjoyed life on board this beautiful ship. We had a special lunch with friends, used the health club, and enjoyed an hour long walk around the ship. We are now headed to our first port once again. We are scheduled to arrive in St. Maarten on December 26.
