Our ship sailed past a lighthouse through the Straits of Messina early Thursday morning on our way to the Greek Islands. After breakfast we enjoyed a two mile walk on the track located on an upper deck. Later Jim visited the well-equipped gym for some weight lifting. A nice sit down lunch in the ship's main restaurant followed, then Jim headed for a relaxing afternoon at the pool while Dan enjoyed quiet time for reading and a swim in the ship's nice solarium pool. At 5 pm it was party time at the pool deck, where the Atlantis signature "Dog Tag Tea Dance," a military-themed dance party took place. The beautiful weather insured that the revelers at the party had a great time dancing. After the party we headed for a special cocktail hour designed for couples, followed by a couples dinner where we got to meet many couples from all parts of the country and the world.
