At the joint community association/property owner's meeting this morning, two significant announcements relative to the Top Of The Bay structure were made. First, the property owners association has more than enough signatures to proceed with the feasibility study, and second the property has been sold to local property owners who plan to rehabilitate it and reopen a restaurant upstairs and shops downstairs. So, no matter which way it turns out, the current question relative to the disposition of the building has been settled. Either it will be rehabilitated and will reopen, or the property owners group will proceed with their feasibility study. End of discussion, except that hopefully the next time the established powers here want to propose something I hope that they notify EVERYONE up front, and give EVERYONE a chance to discuss and comment upon what they are proposing BEFORE they start collecting signatures.
