Beach Plum In Blossom

This past week we enjoyed the annual blossoming of the Beach Plum on the dunes. The dense white blossoms sometimes give the appearance of snow on the dunes. The blossoms quickly turn dark pink and fade, but the plant produces fruit by Autumn.
