Occupy Wall Street: America's Last Best Chance

The national media has so far largely ignored #occupyWall Street, but last weekend, with 700 arrests at the Brooklyn Bridge, and the movement spreading to other US cities, we may be witnessing the re-birth of democracy in America, and perhaps the last best chance and hope for this once great country, a chance and hope procured by decent, idealistic young people, the best that America has to offer.

It's the 99 percent of us vs. the one percent at the top, who control our destiny by virtue of their immense wealth and power. Economic and social justice is what we want. Specific demands will evolve. The movement, which is pure grassroots, will continue to spread.
