So, Senator Reid, please allow Senator Burris to take his place in the U.S. Senate. The side show is tawdry. He is a qualified and respected public servant. Why should he have to suffer just because he was appointed by Blago?
Meanwhile, in New York State, Democrats have elected a leader in the state senate. Yet three rogue conservative anti-gay Democrats will continue to stand in the way of marriage equality in that state, delaying the prospect of gay marriage in New York.
