Special Film Tuesday Aug. 23

Last September 18 & 19, 2010, two College Of New Jersey students, Matty Daley and Bobby Canciello, decided to try to set a new world record for the longest continuous kiss...with a twist...it would be a gay kiss. They felt that it was high time that the Guinness Book Of World Records had something gay in it. Over that September weekend the entire event went viral on the internet, with people from all over the world watching the live stream. Matty and Bobby successfully broke the record at about 8 PM Sunday evening.

But it was not the world record that mattered most, rather it was the outpouring of love and support from all over the world that Matty and Bobby received, and the great feeling that anyone who watched them, even for a few moments, came away with. They truly proved that love is love, regardless of gender. They and their friends did more to advance GLBT equality and acceptance than most politicians do in a lifetime!

Director John Galino and producer Kelly Dolak made a documentary film about Matty and Bobby's record breaking kiss entitles "Our Lips Are Sealed." They will be bringing their film to Cherry Grove on Tuesday evening, August 23 where it will be shown at the Cherry Grove Community House at 6:30 PM. The film will be a part of the Tuesday Night At The Movies summer film series presented by the Arts Project Of Cherry Grove. Admission to the film is free with a voluntary donations jar benefiting the APCG>
